The New York State Department of Education sponsored a conference for parents of English language learners on Thursday, October 29th from 9a.m. to 2p.m. at New York University. Francis Lewis High School chartered a bus at the convenience of our parents.  Ms. Huh, Ms, Lin, and Ms. Miaoulis escorted about 30 parents to NYU and had an insightful learning experience.  We had an opportunity to have lunch at Washington Square Park where many parents networked with one another.
